US Cellular’s brand promise was delivering a high-tech experience “in the middle of anywhere,” distinguishing itself from it’s city-focused competitors. Nebraska was a market they targeted for investment, so we activated a multi-year relationship with the team that makes the most news and noise in the state: Husker Football. We created a series of next-generation campaigns centered around the ultimate fan connection – an exclusive fantasy camp behind-the-scenes experience for customers only. The effort included custom content starring high-profile alumni, online and IRL fan engagements designed to spur word-of-mouth and social chatter, even a thematic VR tour that gave fans a taste of what they could win.
