Inspiration: College-age kids want to live their “fest life,” but few of them actually make it to Coachella.
Idea: Bring the festival to them.
We created a once in a lifetime (or at least semester) festival that brought the best of Nintendo Switch right to our target. The cross-country tour rekindled attendees’ affections for the characters they grew up with while showcasing contemporary games and playing styles to demonstrate how the versatile console fits into their busy lives and helps them connect with friends. Over-the-top photo ops inspired organic shares and a retail partnership with Target drove immediate sales. 18k attendees, 60k demos and 100MM+ impressions later, we hit sales goals and inspired a new generation of consumers to switch to the Switch!
